E-bikes “start from $60–$80”; the full ladder lives in their booking flow.
Best for: E-bike riders staying OUTSIDE Sea Pines, Shipyard, and Hilton Head Plantation (e-bikes aren't allowed there) who want the island's biggest e-bike fleet.
Free delivery only kicks in at 2+ bikes — a solo e-bike rental may carry a delivery fee that bike-plus-gear shops don't charge.

This was our first trip to the island, and the e-bikes completely elevated the experience. Thanks to Hilton Head's incredible network of pathways, we biked everywhere—coffee, lunch, dinner. Not only was it more fun than driving, but we easily saved around $50 in Uber costs every time we went out, so the bikes paid for themselves. The bikes themselves were incredibly easy and intuitive to use, even as first-time e-bike riders. The absolute highlight of our trip was riding on the beach! A special shoutout to Casey, whose customer service was outstanding. From start to finish, we felt genuinely cared for and well taken care of.

Our family rented two bikes (one with a child bike attachment). We had a fantastic time riding around the island and exploring the hard to reach beaches. The drop off and pickup were effortless. Thank you Avocado Bikes - we made memories our kids will remember for a long time!

We had the best time in Hilton Head & having the electric tricycle just made it better. We have them at home 🏡 & it was perfect. The team are responsible and reliable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am also a bilateral knee replacement patient it was just a year and driving on the beach was absolutely amazing.

Avocado Bikes is the best! Casey is awesome and answered all our questions about the bike rentals. I ended up getting a larger tire bike with gears and a thumb throttle. Definitely the better option for beach riding and long trips. Spend a little more and get a better experience. My friend got the standard green rental but the white big tire bike was a much better performer. Casey was willing to deliver and/or pick up the bike. Very flexible on the return and was just a great person to do business with. Highly recommend Avocado!!!

Two of our four bikes didn’t work and we didn’t realize this until we were a ways away. We got those changed out and everything was amazing from them on. Just make sure your bikes are working before you leave the shop and everything will go smoothly!
