How their pricing works
Universal brackets
One bracket ladder with a 2-day minimum — no single-day rate. $35 for 2–3 days, $50 for 4 days–1 week, $90 for two weeks ($100 to 15 days) — and nearly every item (adult bikes, kids' bikes, kiddie karts, cargo carts) uses the same ladder.
Best for: Families pricing multiple bikes — count riders, multiply one ladder. Booked by text, 24/7.
A 4-day rental and a 7-day rental cost the same $50, so always book to the top of your window. One catch: kids' bikes cost the same as adult bikes here, so shops that price kids' bikes separately can work out lower for young families.

We were extremely impressed with Cross Island Bike Rentals during our stay in Hilton Head Island. We arrived on the island Saturday afternoon and quickly realized we wanted bikes for the week. The rental process was simple and convenient, and by the very next day our bikes were delivered and waiting right outside our villa. The bikes rode wonderfully and made exploring the island such a great experience. The wagon we rented was especially helpful for hauling beach gear, and our small 12 lb dog absolutely loved riding along and taking in the sights of the island in style. We really appreciated that the wagon included a safety strap that clipped securely to his harness, which helped keep him safe and comfortable during our rides. From the easy delivery process to the quality of the equipment, everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be using them again on our next vacation to Hilton Head!

Nick and team were great! Called slightly before listed business hours, got a return call (again before regular listed business hours) almost immediately. They were able to get my kids and I set up and on the trails within 30-45 minutes of my initial phone call! Super affordable, and rented equipment was in great shape!

Originally, I ordered a 20 inch bike for my daughter, however, upon arrival, we realized it was too small. I called the company the next morning and they called me back immediately. I told them the issue and someone came out within 15 minutes to bring the correct size. I was very impressed with the prompt response and kindness I received! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who visits the island! They are amazing with customer service and genuine care and concern with any issues.

We had a great experience going through Cross Island Bikes To rent a couple of beach cruisers for our time on Hilton Head! When we arrived, they fit the bikes to us before we rode away, and both the pick up and drop off process was smooth and seamless! The bikes were we maintained with zero issues! I would highly recommend using Cross Island bike rental for your next trip!
