Our family had a great experience renting kayaks and bikes here. The channels were beautiful and peaceful, and there were so many different types of water birds just a few feet away as we paddled by. Even though it was windy and cool out, the channels were calm and sheltered, which was a very pleasant surprise. TJ was friendly and professional getting us onto the water too. Later in the day we rented bikes, and Gary and TJ were awesome with the kids. Gary gave them a friendly and helpful demo that helped them be way more comfortable on their first beach bike ride, and TJ was again patient and kind with the kids as they tried to help with the bike and helmet pickup. The folks working the desk inside the main building were also great with the kids. We also appreciated the clean bathrooms, reasonable rental prices compared to renting from our hotel, and their flexible pickup and drop-off policy. For example, our 1 day rental was for 24 hours, so we didn't need to rush back by 5pm like some of the other rental options we had looked at.

July 2026 - Family Vacation Excellent eBike Rental Experience We highly recommend renting eBikes from Hilton Head Outfitters and Bike Rentals. My wife and I rented eBikes for three days and had the best experience. Kaitlyn was excellent and made the reservation process so easy. We enjoyed riding the bikes on the beach during low tide. At the end of the day, we stopped at the garage to exchange our batteries to have a fresh one for the next day. The garage staff was courteous, fast and provided excellent service.

Excellent place for bike rentals. Great location just outside the Hilton Beachfront Resort. We enjoyed riding our bikes on the beach and around the island.

Very easy to rent; can drop off after hours which is awesome. The lady at the Merchandise shop/office is super kind. Conveniently located near Omni.

I had an amazing experience renting an electric bike during my vacation in Hilton Head, and I can’t recommend it enough—especially if you get the chance to work with Logan. He was incredibly helpful and took the time to show me how to set everything up. It made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The electric bike itself was a total game-changer. It gave me the freedom to explore Hilton Head in a fun, easy, and eco-friendly way. Cruising along the beach paths and through the scenic neighborhoods was one of the best parts of my trip. Big shoutout to Hilton Head voters and the local community for supporting initiatives that promote sustainable tourism and bike-friendly options. And thanks again to Logan—his service made all the difference. Highly recommend!
